Howdy, Thoroughbred Families!
We’re galloping through the school year at Churchland Primary and Intermediate, and the energy from our Thoroughbreds continues to inspire us daily! As we ride together on this educational journey, I’d like to remind everyone of the trail markers that guide us and ensure our students stay on the path to success.
Morning Round-Up: Doors Open at 8:20 a.m.
Our school doors open at 8:20 a.m., and this is the prime time for our Thoroughbreds to arrive and prepare for a successful day. Just like a champion needs to be ready at the starting gate, our students thrive when they arrive on time, settle in, and focus on the day ahead. Arriving promptly sets the tone for academic success and allows for meaningful connections with peers and teachers. Let’s continue working together to make sure our Thoroughbreds start each day strong!
The Importance of Attendance: Staying on the Trail
Every day counts in a Thoroughbred’s journey. Consistent attendance is key to mastering skills and knowledge, ensuring students don’t fall behind in their learning. Each day missed is a missed opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. Let’s aim for perfect attendance and keep our Thoroughbreds on the trail to academic success!
Our Mission: Guiding Our Trail
At Churchland Primary and Intermediate, our mission serves as the compass that guides everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, equitable, and inclusive learning environment where students can develop critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Through open discussions and hands-on learning, we strive to equip our Thoroughbreds with the tools they need for a bright future.
Thank you for your continued support in helping our students thrive. Together, let’s keep blazing new trails and making this year one for the books!
Saddle up, and let’s have a fantastic year!
Yours in education,
Dr. LaTonya Harris, Principal
